Sree Matha Lalithambika Trust, with its registered office located at Supreme Tower, Kunnathurmedu, Palakkad, is a spiritual and charitable organization guided by a dedicated team of 18 trustees. The Trust aims to promote the study and practice of Tantric Vedas, temple rituals, Sanatana Dharma, and other traditional Indian knowledge systems like Yoga, Vastu, Kalari, and astrology. It actively supports social welfare activities such as free education, temple construction, cow protection, medical camps, and mental health counseling. The Trust also organizes cultural events, community weddings, and self-employment programs to uplift the community. Through donations and service, the Trust continues to work towards preserving cultural heritage and serving society.

Sadguru Srilasri Mathaji Sree Vidyambha Saraswathi, lovingly called as “Mathaji” stood as an epotome of love and mercy, a beacon of light, and a sanyasini of the highest order.

Mathaji as she was affectionately called was born in the year 1947 to Shri. Dharmaraja and Kaliyammal of Rajapalayam. At the tender age of 6, she was taken into the fold of our Paramaguru “Adwayanandha Saraswathi” who brought her into the fold of spiritual pursuits. Mathaji thereafter was given a direct mantra deeksha of the “Mahashodashi Mantra” by her guru Adwayananda Saraswathi at the tender age of 10. She was ordained into Sanyasa in the year 1961 at the age of 16 by the great guru Shri Shri Sivananda Saraswathy of Rishikesh.

In the year 1964 on the day of Vijayadasami, Mathaji was ordained as the “Peedatheesvvari” of the Chayapura Sakthi, Peedam, Thirueengoimalai by the Parama Guru on the ordes of  the Great Saint Sivananda Saraswathi of Rishikesh and was looked, up as on incarnate of Goddess Lakshmi herself. She was considered as a “Shrividyasagaram” and dedicated her entire life teaching the highly revered Srividya Upasana” to her disciples and sishyas who had the fortune to land at her lotus feet.

Mathaji has performed purascharana of the Maha Shodasi Mantra thrice. She led the Chayapura Sakthi Peedam from the age of 16 until her merging with the supreme at the age of 78. Mathaji chose the path of Raja Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Jnana Yoga and Japa Yoga and performed Nishkamya karma through out her life.

 She taught Srimad Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, Vyakarana, Sri Devi Mahatmyam, Sri Lalitha Yaagapaddathi, performed Kumbhabhishekams and Laitha Maha Yaagam in Sanskrit.

 In Tamil, Mathaji taught “Taavabhodham, Maharaaja Sanyasa. Kaivalya Navaneetham, Sasivarnabhodham, Jnanavashistam, Vairaagyasathakam, Vairaagyadeepam and Geethaasaara Thaalaattu. All these great texts were taught by Mathaji to the Yoginees numbering 19 at present in the ashram.

Mathaji also was an able administrator and founded the Sri Vidya School for the under previleged children at Sri Lalitha Mahila Samajam. The Peedam also runs a home for destitute girl children and also provides employment oppurtunities for hundreds of families around the peedam at Sri Lalitha Mahila Samajam.

The Peedam grew under the tutulage of Mathaji and has performed thousands of Homas and Kumbabhishegams and Satha Chandi Homams for the betterment of devotees. Her divine Presence pervaded the lives of all around her and she was the heaven for many a soul that was in dire straits. Every cell of her body oozed only kindness, love and compassion. She stood as a bed rock for her sishyas and gave the comfort of a mother who was always present with her unconditional love. Her life stood dedicated to the thousands and thousands of her devotees who felt that she was their mother over mother in a special way.

Sri Gurumathaji has fulfilled her life’s mission and has become one with the Divine Mother Lalithabika on June 7 th 2025. A life filled with love, compassion, truth, simplicity, humility and honesty finally merged with the suprme Goddess and went to reside in `Manidhweepam”

The life and Teachings of Mathaji are being honoured and celebrated with Moksha Deepa along with Homa, Abhisheka and Aradhana on Sunday the 22 nd June 2025 at the •Chayapura Sakthi Peedam”.
